Ultimately, we must improve our Election Process by passing legislation that adopts paper ballots, digital imaging backup, and a robust risk limiting audit.
I support SB822 and SB460 which together will protect our internet from corporate greed and keep net neutrality as a California policy. Support my candidacy for State Assembly so I can protect net neutrality in California.
There is no end to the madness.
Ending the waiver on the Clean Air Act will reverse the progress California has made on reducing carbon emissions, let alone endanger the health of those with breathing impairments. We will fight these ridiculous actions. #AreYouReady?
Privatization is transfer of a service from public to private control. Some believe that private business better runs our public institutions, like schools (charter) or libraries. Others believe that it is the government duty to protect and operate our public institutions in the common interest of all people.
We are at a crossroad for our future on who and how our public institutions should be managed. Do you favor privatization of our public institutions?
Election transparency and integrity can happen in California. I will work with the Secretary of State and Election Officials toward paper ballots and vote counting machines which generate ballot images.
For the past year, we brought this campaign to show our neighbors from San Marcos to Temecula that our State government can and should work for us and that our values and ethics are local and that State government affects us locally. Thousands of you came out on June 5 and said that our healthcare, our schools, our environment and our safety are non negotiable and that we deserve leadership that fights for us! I’m ready to fight for you.
This race is a battle for our national soul. Humanity and democracy are at stake nationally. Our California values must prevail.
If you have donated to this campaign before, I say thanks. But now I need you to renew that commitment and match your early contribution. If you haven’t previously contributed, please consider doing so now. Consider making your contribution monthly so we can sustain financially through the November election.
Please do it today.
Net Neutrality (the principle that Internet service providers should enable access to all content and applications regardless of the source, and without favoring or blocking particular products or websites) has become a key issue in state and national policy. Protecting it as a freedom will require legislation and regulations. Do you favor protecting internet content as a protected right for all or do you favor allowing the marketplace to sell internet content?
