Contributing to community comes in many forms. For me it has been coaching and officiating youth soccer and youth baseball spanning two decades. I also served on the Board for Little League for 2 years. Working with children in sports is especially rewarding. Watching them grow, working together, while developing athletic and leadership skills has been the privilege of my adult life. Hearing former players call me “Coach” years later is a great honor and reminder of the important role the unsung heroes in the community have in shaping the future and instilling into the next generation the core values of hard work, perseverance , integrity , and the upmost reverence and respect for your competition – because like you, they had the courage to step into the arena and give it their best shot, win lose or draw. That is sportsmanship. #Community #Teamwork
