@alan_suarez0 and @alangeraci4assembly Thank you for your vigorous work during the campaign season and showing our region that the next generation is ready to lead.
Congratulations to Marie Waldron for winning her re-election campaign. As a constituent of this District, I urge her to work with Assembly leadership toward a strong California on issues of healthcare, education, affordable housing, environment and to continue the steadfast movement away from dark money sources in our political discourse.
For those who supported my campaign, let’s work together to build stronger communities and to always strive toward what brings us together and not what divides us.
🍎📚 Education is the fundamental investment we make for a strong tomorrow. I am an avid supporter of our public schools from pre-K through college or vocational graduation. My eldest son and his wife are both public high school teachers in San Diego. My daughter is a special education teacher of young children in Oakland. Their tireless dedication to their students inspires me and confirms the ideal that by investing in education for the next generation, including higher education, we set the pace to bring innovation, research, discovery, and tremendous economic development to our State.
I have been fighting for a fair deal for working families and the voiceless in our society my whole life. If elected, I will take the fight to Sacramento. I ask for your Vote on November 6.
510 days ago, this campaign was launched to bring real legislative leadership in Sacramento to our District. We are now down to the final week. This is my final pitch of the final inning of a long season. ⚾️
Thanks to the amazing contributors, volunteers and activists in our communities, our message of unity has been heard. If elected, I am ready:
to fight to deliver single-payer healthcare to all Californians,
to fight for our public schools and the teachers and employees that deliver education to our kids,
to fight for our planet’s future by ending our dependence on fossil fuels and building a sustainable clean energy economy,
to fight for affordable housing that delivers smart growth solutions to traffic mitigation and homelessness, and,
to fight for campaign finance reform and election integrity, the heart of our democracy.
These are big ideas for an age of new governance. But we deserve it, and more. Let’s finish strong. Let’s end the divisions and divisive politics of our time and march forward together as one District family. Let’s all be winners on November 6th.
Our region is electorally controlled by women and GenZ IF they VOTE! #bluewave2018
